This vacuum navigates my house incredibly well, even during early-morning cleanings when the whole place is dark and everyone is still asleep. The built-in LiDAR, front cameras, and auto-adjusting light work together flawlessly, so it cleans just as accurately as it does in the daytime.
The LiDAR handles most of the navigation, but the front cameras are also a huge bonus—you can use them through the app to manually drive the vacuum around. It’s great for a quick security check inside the house or even just checking on your pets while you’re away.
On the rare occasion the robot gets stuck somewhere while I’m out, the remote video feature is a lifesaver. Being able to see through the camera and use the on-screen controls to drive the Z60 Ultra to an open spot—then resume cleaning right from the app—is a total game changer. None of my previous robot vacuums ever had anything close to this unless they came with a physical remote that only worked when you were standing next to it. Just when you think the Z60 Ultra couldn’t possibly have more features, it surprises you again.
I’ve had my v50 ultra complete for several months now and have only had it get stuck ONE time. And honestly it was my fault it got stuck! I added a low lying area under a piece of furniture I shouldn’t have. In that instance, manual steering did not allow me to free it from underneath but I could see where this could be super handy.
