Mopping is a very important feature for me. I really wanted to try the Mova for the rolling mop. For context, the Ecovac T20 Omni that I have been using has rotating mop pads. Those did well when I first got the robot, but with wear, the mopping performance has dropped significantly. They use the same water every time, so depending on how dirty the mop pads are, they can spread the dirty water around.
My experience with the Z60 mop has been mixed so far.
The pros are
- The extended mop feature is amazing, and I can see it is reaching edges that my other robot misses and even I miss when mopping manually.
- I like that I don't need to put the cleaning solution every time, and it automatically adds it to the water.
- The floors actually look nice and clean after the mop leftover water dries up.
Cons:
- Water streaks. Seems to be using too much water? I have attached the images of this issue. For context, I am using the CleanGenius, which automatically determines the cleaning intensity. Maybe I need to try manual mode and limit the water output there.
- The water tanks are smaller than I expected. The ecovac robot tanks are almost double the size. So these may require frequent refilling, especially given how much water they use.
