Side brush does not turn on on carpet

How do I get the firmware update that enables the side brush to work when vacuuing carpets?

We recommend checking if there is any hair tangled or obstructing the side brush. Please disassemble and clean it. Alternatively, you can try replacing the side brush with a new one to see if that resolves the issue.

It is a new machine. It works on hardwood floors. I heard that only a firmware update will enable the brush to spin  on carpet.

There are no options under the carpet settings to activate side brush rotation. My firmware version is 4.3.9.1658. Could you please let me know how to get the side brush to work on carpet ?

Now the side brush is working on carpets in my second floor map but the Intensive Carpet Cleaning does not work any longer. If I change to another saved map the side brush does not work but the Intensive Carpet Cleaning works. Could you please let me know how to get this fixed?

I’m on firmware version is 4.3.9.1658. It also doesn’t have that option.

I’m interested in the side brush issue for my P10.
