Hi Mova Support,
I am reaching out to resolve a configuration issue regarding multi-user access for my Mova P10.
Initial Setup & Context:
Over the past month, I successfully completed the initial deployment, including full floor plan mapping and detailed room labeling (Bedrooms, Playrooms, Bathrooms, etc.). The vacuum has been performing routine cleaning cycles without issue. I am now attempting to share access and control with my children (ages 15+) so they can manage the device independently.
The Problem:
My objective is to maintain primary administrative control while allowing secondary users full access, including the initial mapping and tagging. However, we are experiencing a "hand-off" conflict:
When I shared access, my local settings and device visibility disappeared from my smartphone.
When I scanned the machine’s QR code to regain my connection, the secondary user immediately lost their access.
It appears the system is treating new connections as a "takeover" rather than a "shared" permission, causing the initial configuration to be lost or inaccessible.
Request:
Please provide a comprehensive, step-by-step technical guide on how to enable simultaneous access for multiple household users. Specifically, I need instructions that ensure:
The primary user does not lose their configuration/map when sharing.
Secondary users can control the device without "kicking" the primary user off the app.
We can avoid the need to re-scan, re-map, or re-configure profiles each time a different person needs to use the machine.
Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our household management.
