Hi, I received the v50 last night and it was vibrating against floor while mapping. I reached out to support to guidance and they want me to remove the side brush and mop holders. How do I remove the side brush and mop holders??
Also I tried cleaning with it today, it is very loud. My friend has the same model and it is nothing like this. Think I got a lemon.
The mop pads are simply held on by a strong magnet - should be able to pull those off relatively easy. The others will need a small screwdriver to be removed. Refer to this:
The support team is assuming that something may be slightly loose and not seated properly. I would remove those things, run it and see if you hear the noise. Remove the brush too and try and determine what is causing the noise! Something may have just come loose during shipping.
This issue may also be caused by the main brush cover not being properly installed, which can lead to friction noise when it rubs against the floor. You can try removing the main brush cover and reinstalling it to see if the problem is resolved.
