One feature I’ve been really impressed with is the adjustable LiDAR module on the top of the robot.
In these photos you can see how the LiDAR tower can lower itself when it approaches furniture with tighter clearance. Because of that, the Z60 is able to slide under my living room table where some other robot vacuums would normally skip the area.
This has actually made a big difference because dust and crumbs tend to collect under that table pretty quickly. Now it’s able to clean underneath there regularly instead of leaving it as a missed spot.
It handles the transition smoothly too. The robot approaches the furniture, lowers the LiDAR module, moves underneath the table, and continues cleaning without any hesitation.
Little details like this really help it clean areas that usually get ignored. It’s been nice seeing it reach spots that normally require pulling out the regular vacuum.
