The MOVA Z60’s mapping was the smoothest out of any robot vacuum I have ever owned. It mapped my space very quickly and didn’t get tripped up by the floor-to-ceiling windows, which I initially thought might be a problem. It has navigated that area of my apartment very easily, and I can even place the base station right next to the windows with no issues. In the app, I did place a virtual wall just in case anything appeared like another room. However, nothing has so far, which might be due to the front-facing camera detecting the threshold and the side navigation sensor contributing to the robot’s overall sensor suite for navigation.
In addition, in case anyone was wondering, LED light strips do not affect the navigation or sensor functions, which is great to see. I have noticed one issue so far that I’ll cover in a future post regarding the mopping not being thorough enough. Overall, though, it still performs great.
