Full disclosure: I received this Z60 through MOVA's Get & Create program at no cost in exchange for honest feedback.
For this test I scattered crushed mini wheats across the floor in different sizes to see how CleanGenius handles real debris.
The good: the Z60's large particle detection works. The robot identifies debris and adapts its cleaning behavior. You can clearly see it happening in the app too, with debris locations flagged on the live map in real time. One thing that genuinely impressed me is that the robot will actually clean beyond its designated zone if it detects large particles nearby. It's not rigidly sticking to boundaries when it sees something that needs to be picked up. That's smart behavior.
The not-so-good: corner performance needs work. I think the issue is the LiDAR turret lowering and the large particle boost mode either conflicting or operating independently. In open floor areas the suction is solid and it handles the mini wheat chunks without issue. But in corners and deep under cabinets where the turret lowers for clearance, the boost mode doesn't seem to kick in the same way. This feels like a software coordination issue more than a hardware limitation, and it's the kind of thing a firmware update could improve.
Overall, the debris detection AI is doing its job. The vacuum knows what's on your floor and adjusts accordingly. Corner performance is the one area I'd like to see MOVA tighten up in future updates.
