Today, I wanted to see how much battery the Z60 consumes on the biggest room in my apartment. I have the Z60 set to 90% for the full charge to optimize battery use over time to prolong its battery life. At the normal setting I use when the Z60 does cleaning throughout the day, it used about 38% on the “Intense” setting, and it took about 37 minutes to complete. It’s much slower when cleaning the carpet, but from what I’ve seen, the Z60 lasts for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until it has to go back to the base station to charge. I love using the Z60 to clean one specific area as needed, which is seamless in the app, and you can select the intensity of the clean, how many times it goes over the area (up to 3x, but usually 1x is plenty), the suction power of the vaccum, and how intense the mop cleans depending on how much moisture you prefer to leave across the floor after cleaning.
Also, the Z60 auto-detects areas with carpet, which are shown on the map as a grey overlay. Pets scared at the sound of a traditional vacuum? Concerned about being the “noisy upstairs neighbor?” There’s also a quiet option on the vacuum setting to limit the amount of noise it emits, while still getting the job done!
