Z60 vs Thin Rugs

Wanted to share this video of our Z60's performance vs our thin rug runner.  Everything so far has been amazing with the Z60 but it has met its challenge when it comes to thin rugs like the one I have in this video.  I have found that it gets stuck on the rug at least 80% of its cleanings and if it doesn't get stuck its still scrunches the rug up and misses cleaning spots around the rug.  I now make sure I move the rug before any cleaning as should you if you own rugs like this.

Hello,

When the robot vacuum lifts or rolls up a lightweight rug, it is usually because the rug is too thin or too light, making it easy for the main brush or suction to pull it up during cleaning. You can try marking the lightweight rug as a no‑go zone or setting it as an avoidance area in the app, so the robot will automatically steer around it and prevent the rug from being rolled up.

At the same time, we recommend applying anti‑slip stickers or rug‑corner grippers underneath the rug to keep it more secure and prevent the robot from pushing or lifting it. If you don’t mind a bit of manual handling, you can also roll up or temporarily remove the rug before cleaning, which is the most straightforward and effective solution.

Update, we ended up going with the anti-slip stickers and worked like a charm. Posted an update video!

Thanks, we have gone with rolling it and moving it out of the way for now.
