Z60 2-Week Check Up. Early Thoughts & Real‑World Wear

After two full weeks with our MOVA Z60—affectionately named Emo—I’m genuinely impressed with how well this little machine has settled into our home. There’s still some wonky navigation that I’m hoping future firmware updates will smooth out, but overall Emo has been a strong performer.

How Emo Looks After Two Weeks
You can definitely tell the Z60 has been working. What surprised me is the "kind of" dirty. There aren’t big clumps of grime or anything dramatic—mostly it's fine dust, hair, and pet dander that actually matters for our family. Keeping the air clean and reducing skin irritation is a big deal in our house, and Emo is clearly winning there.

The vacuum bag usage has been surprisingly low. That might be because we’ve been comparing the Z60 to our MOVA V50--named "Tia"--and during the comparisons have had the V50 clean the same areas.  That said, it’s nice not to be constantly swapping bags, but if I did, the bag swap is super easy.

The mop roller still looks practically new, and the carpet rollers are in great shape too. The only thing that’s unagreeable is the mop wastewater bin—it still has some residual liquid, and yes, it smells. The rest of the unit, thankfully, does not.

Cleaning Solution & Settings
The floor‑cleaning solution reservoir is still nearly full, which tells me Emo isn’t using much per run. I’m going to double‑check my app settings to make sure I didn’t accidentally set it to “barely mop.”

Wear & Tear
As expected, Emo has picked up a few scuff marks and even two small gouges in the plastic. Nothing catastrophic, but enough to show that it’s been navigating a real home with real obstacles.

Final Thoughts (For Now)
Two weeks in, Emo is proving to be a solid addition to our cleaning routine. The navigation quirks are still the biggest question mark, but the cleaning performance—especially the fine dust and dander removal—has been excellent. I’ll keep documenting what I see as Emo continues learning our space.

More updates to come as the adventure continues.
