Quick heads up: MOVA sent me this Z60 through their Get & Create program to try out and review, but these thoughts are 100% my own and truthful.
I wanted to discuss a little feature that I assume is probably often overlooked on the Z60. It’s this side arm silicone piece that sits opposite of the spinning side brush (see pictures).
I don’t think I would have recognized how valuable this tiny detail truly is if it wasn’t for previously having a robot vacuum that didn’t have this. Though my previous robot vacuum was great overall, sometimes the spinning side arm wasn’t enough to capture all the dirt, especially on my hard floors. I believe it had a lot to do with the angle at which some pieces of dirt were being approached. Depending on factors like this and how the robot vacuum is moving, some pieces can be left behind.
It was usually possible to circumvent this issue by having the robot vacuum do multiple passes and choosing a more intensive route option. But with the Z60’s silicone side arm, the window of dirt capture is so much greater. Typically on only 1 pass with just a standard route, the Z60 can capture all the dirt pieces on my floor. The side arm makes the robot vacuum’s approach practically a non-issue. Even though it’s just a tiny detail that I’m sure is overlooked, I’m super grateful for MOVA for keeping these small details in mind when designing the Z60. TranslateView Original Text
