I've uploaded a couple of pictures of what it sometimes looks like when running near my front door rug. One potential downside I've noticed with the Z60 is that the vacuum struggles to clean my front door rug well because it is too powerful! I didn't have this issue with my previous vacuums including the P10 Ultra, but I think that because the Z60 is just so much stronger, it is unable to clean the rug without it picking up. I plan on trying to ad some kind of pad or tape to help it stay down as I believe that will help to solve the problem. Overall, though, I'd rather have a vacuum robot that is too strong that one that isn't strong enough to pick up everything I need it to. It also, thankfully, doesn't get stuck even when it moves the rug up onto itself which is a huge deal. I think I would be pretty frustrated if it moved the rug and then got stuck! Maybe I will update this after I locate a good solution to keep the rug more secure.
Really helpful post — appreciate the level of detail here.
One thing I’ve been curious about: have you noticed any difference in how the Z60 handles mixed surfaces (like transitioning between hard floor and carpet) over multiple runs?
Also, how consistent has the obstacle detection been in daily use — especially with smaller items or cables?
Always interesting to see how these perform outside controlled tests.
