Hello,
If the device has crossed a virtual wall, this may be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Incorrectly saved map or restricted areas. Please make sure the map is saved correctly and that the restricted areas are properly set. In the app, check that the map exists and ensure that you tap the “✓” button to save the restricted areas after setting them.
2. Unstable network connection. If your home area is large or the network connection is unstable, the robot may not be able to stay properly connected to your home Wi‑Fi, which can cause the restricted areas not to be saved. Please make sure the Wi‑Fi connection is stable when setting virtual walls or no‑go zones.
3. Robot in positioning mode. If the robot is in positioning mode, it may temporarily enter restricted areas. Once the robot has successfully completed positioning, it should no longer enter these areas.
4. Multiple maps saved. If you have saved multiple maps, please ensure that the correct map is selected in the app when the robot is working in that area. Otherwise, localization errors may occur.
Regarding the issue of the robot mopping carpets, have you checked the carpet settings in the app? If the carpet option is set to “Ignore”, the robot will ignore carpets and will vacuum and mop over them normally.
If the robot continues to mop carpets even after remapping, it may be that the carpet has not been correctly recognized. We recommend manually adding carpet areas in the map to see whether the issue still occurs.
As for the slow cleaning efficiency, please check whether there are too many obstacles on the floor. We recommend tidying up shoes, cables, toys, and other items before starting a cleaning task. Slow cleaning can also be related to the floor pattern. If possible, could you provide a photo of the floor so that we can further analyze the situation?
