I’ve seen this happen on the MOVA P10 Ultra, especially after switching to the tri-cut brush.
Since you already replaced the brush and roller, it’s probably not the brush itself. The error is usually triggered when the robot thinks the brush is jammed or pulling too much resistance.
A few things I’d check:
1. Make sure the brush is seated correctly
Take it out and reinstall it
Make sure both ends are fully locked in
If one side is even slightly off, it can trigger the error
2. Check the end caps / bearings
Pop off the ends of the brush (if removable)
Hair can wrap inside there where you can’t see it
Clean it out completely
3. Look inside the brush housing
Check the area where the brush sits
Make sure nothing is stuck around the drive side (gear side)
4. Try the original brush again
If you still have it, put it back in and test
Some aftermarket or even upgraded brushes can cause extra resistance
5. Spin test
With the brush installed, spin it by hand
It should move freely with very little resistance
If it feels tight or uneven, that’s your issue
6. Check the brush motor area
Look where the brush connects to the motor (usually one side)
Make sure there’s no debris stuck in the gear
If you’ve done all that and it’s still throwing the error, it’s usually one of these:
failing brush motor
sensor falsely detecting resistance
tri-cut brush causing too much load (even if new)
At that point, I’d contact MOVA support. Since it’s under a year old, you should still be covered. |
