Following up on my earlier post where the MOVA P10 Ultra Gen 2 got tangled in cords under the bed, I wanted to show how the MOVA V50 Ultra handled that same situation.
I left the cords in place and let the V50 run its normal cleaning routine. This time, instead of getting wrapped up or stuck, it recognized the cords and avoided them completely. It slowed down, adjusted its path, and kept moving without any issues.
Now, there is a trade-off. If the cords stay in that same spot, the robot is not going to clean that exact area. So while the avoidance is great for keeping the system running, it also means that space can get skipped. Realistically, the best solution is still to keep things picked up… which clearly I do not always do…lol.
If you want to see how it actually navigated around everything, take a look at the video.
I was selected as a MOVA community tester for the V50 Ultra, they sent this one out for testing. I also bought the Z60 Ultra and P10 Ultra myself so I could compare all three. I’ve owned Roomba, Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Shark robot vacuums…so I’ve had plenty of experience (frustration) with robot vacuums. TranslateView Original Text
