I wanted to do a simple side-by-side look at the basic build of these three systems. Not performance testing, not features, just how they are physically put together. Mop pads, brushes, and the onboard dustbins.
Mop Feature: The P10 Ultra Gen 2 and the V50 Ultra share a similar approach with their mop systems. Both use magnet-mounted mop pads, which are simple to attach and remove and very easy to work with day to day. The Z60 Ultra takes a different approach with a roller-style mop. It feels very intentional in how it is integrated into the system. Based on what I am seeing so far, and the amount of dirt in my mopping areas, it feels like the roller-style mop is doing a better job picking up dirt and grime. That said, it is still early and that could just be coincidence, so I will keep testing.
Brushes: When it comes to the brush system, the V50 and Z60 are very similar. I have really long hair that sheds a lot, and it usually gets tangled around traditional rollers. If you look closely in the video, you can actually see the P10 has hair wrapped around the center of the brush, while the V50 and Z60 do not.
Dustbin: All three are similar in design and function, however, the V50 Ultra’s dustbin seems slightly larger, which could help reduce how often it needs to be emptied depending on your home.
Obstacle Detection System: Another difference is how they approach obstacle detection. The V50 and Z60 both use AI Smart Sight, while the P10 uses adaptive avoidance. If you want to see how that actually plays out in real life, you can check out my other videos where I show AI Smart Sight in action and some of the limitations I have seen with adaptive avoidance.
LDS Sensor: One feature I LOVE on the V50 and Z60 is the auto-lifting LDS sensor. Both can raise and lower the sensor to fit under lower furniture, which helps them reach areas that would normally be missed. The P10 does not have this, so there is a difference there in how they are physically designed to handle tighter spaces.
All three systems are solid in their own way. The P10 keeps things simple and gets the job done. The Z60 brings in a different mop and brush system approach and the V50 seems to combine elements from both in a way that works well for everyday use and in a great price point.
I was selected as a MOVA community tester for the V50 Ultra, they sent this one out for testing. I also bought the Z60 Ultra and P10 Ultra myself so I could compare all three. TranslateView Original Text
