I've been running this robot vacuum for a few weeks now and I'm genuinely impressed. I let it loose to do its thing, and it handles our hardwood floors in near-total darkness without missing a beat. The LiDAR navigation doesn't rely on light at all it just maps and goes. You can see from my photos that it was confidently working under beds and into corners in no light with zero issues.
The real test for us was dog hair. We have a medium-sized shedder, and the floors would show it within a day or two before we got this. Now I'm running it every day on a schedule and the floors stay noticeably cleaner. It gets into tight spaces under furniture spots a traditional vacuum barely reaches and pulls out the hair that collects along baseboards and table legs. Suction is solid, it's quiet enough not to be that noticeable, and the mapping has been reliable. If you're on the fence about a robot vac for pet hair and low-light homes, this one does well.
