[V50 Ultra Complete] Real Life Feature: V50 Ultra LDS and Getting Under the Couch

One feature on the MOVA V50 Ultra that I did not fully appreciate until I saw it in action is the auto-lifting LDS sensor.

If you have owned robot vacuums before, you know the struggle. That little bump on top usually means it cannot get under couches, beds, or other low furniture. In my case, it got to the point where I actually 3D printed risers just to lift my couch high enough so my previous robot could fit under it.

With the V50, the LDS sensor lowers when it needs to, which allows it to slide under tighter spaces without any problem. No modifications, no workarounds, no moving furniture.

It is one of those features that does not sound like a big deal at first, but once you see it working in real life, you realize how much it changes what actually gets cleaned in your home. Let's be honest, the area under couch normally gets skipped or only cleaned when you feel motivated enough to move everything are now getting hit regularly as part of the normal cleaning routine.

Both the MOVA Z60 Ultra and the V50 Ultra have this auto-lifting LDS feature. The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 does not have it, and that is one of those small design differences that could have a big impact on your final purchase.

I was selected as a MOVA community tester for the V50 Ultra, they sent this one out for testing. I also bought the Z60 Ultra and P10 Ultra myself so I could compare all three.
