One thing I’ve noticed while using the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete is how much dirt and debris our dogs bring back inside after spending time outdoors. Over the past few weeks, the vacuum has been running regularly in both the kitchen and living room to help keep up with it.
In the first two photos, you can see some debris left behind on a recent vacuum and mop cycle. Once I noticed it happening in both rooms, I realized it probably was not just a random missed spot. After a little troubleshooting, I decided to check and clean the dust box and filter.
The third photo shows how much buildup had collected after only about three weeks of regular cleaning. There were clumps of pet hair and dust packed throughout the filter, which I imagine would significantly reduce airflow and overall cleaning performance over time. Interestingly, the MOVA app still indicated there were around 100 hours remaining before the filter would need replacement, so at this stage, it seemed like a quick cleaning was really all it needed.
Photos four and five show the floor after running another vacuum and mop cycle following the dust box and filter cleaning. The cleaning performance was much closer to what I had experienced when first using the V50 Ultra Complete, and it was a good reminder of how important regular maintenance is for keeping performance consistent over time.
