This unit was provided at no cost through a product program. The experience below reflects real-world use in my home with two dogs.

Introduction
While sitting in my office working today, I figured it would be a good opportunity to test the pet monitoring features on the V50 Ultra Complete. Since both dogs were lying directly under my desk, I already knew where they were, which gave me a controlled way to test how the system handled locating pets.

What the Product Claims
The V50 Ultra Complete includes a built-in camera system with pet-monitoring features, including manual driving controls, two-way audio, sound playback, and a “Find Pets” mode that automatically searches for pets.

How I Tested It
This test focused specifically on the pet monitoring system and automatic pet detection.

• Two dogs located in my mapped office area
• Tested automatic “Find Pets” mode
• Tested manual room targeting
• Observed pet recognition and camera behavior
• Used camera monitoring and image saving features

Results and Experience
Since my office is already mapped, I had several ways to approach this test.

I could manually drive the robot to the office, or simply tell it to go clean that room. Instead, I wanted to test the automatic “Find Pets” feature to see how intelligent the search behavior actually was.

Initially, I was a little disappointed. Vorticity cruised around briefly but never attempted to enter my office before ending the search. I expected it to search more aggressively throughout the entire home before giving up.

That said, I am not fully writing off the feature yet. The robot is still relatively new in my home, and it is possible the AI simply has not learned where my pets usually spend their time. I am curious whether that improves with more usage history.

To continue testing, I manually sent Vorticity into my office and then activated the pet finding feature again. Once in the correct room, it immediately identified and focused on Allie, who could not possibly care less about the robot existing. She remained completely relaxed during the entire process.

One feature I genuinely enjoy is that the robot automatically saves photos and short GIFs whenever it encounters pets during cleaning or monitoring. Most of my gallery now consists of my dogs sleeping in various positions throughout the house.

The two-way audio and sound playback features are also surprisingly useful. If you are away from home, you can use the robot as a mobile pet camera and actually interact with your pets remotely.

The camera quality itself is not amazing, but it is more than good enough for monitoring pets or checking rooms. It gives a clear enough image to identify what is happening around the house.

We already have a stationary pet camera, but there are plenty of times when the dogs wander off somewhere unexpected and disappear from view. Having a mobile camera that can move around the house adds another level of flexibility and peace of mind.

Pros
• Built-in mobile pet camera functionality
• Two-way audio and sound playback are useful features
• Automatically saves pet photos and GIFs
• Easy manual driving controls through the app
• Pet detection works well once in the correct room
• Adds useful home monitoring functionality beyond cleaning

Cons
• “Find Pets” mode did not fully search the entire house
• AI search behavior may need more refinement
• Camera quality is functional but not exceptional

Overall, I think the pet monitoring system has a lot of potential. The automatic pet finding feature still feels a bit limited in its current behavior, but the core camera and monitoring functions work well and are genuinely useful in everyday life.
