Just got the ultra fine filter for the MOVA A10 pool cleaner robot and… holy cow.
The amount of dog hair and fine debris this thing trapped was honestly incredible. I knew there was probably stuff in the pool I was not seeing, but I did not expect that much material to come out after a cleaning run. I have owned several pool cleaners over the years, and I do not think I have ever seen one pull this much fine material out of the water.
For anyone wondering, yes, it absolutely fits the collection basket perfectly. Snapped in like it was factory made for it. Cleaning the filter itself is definitely a little more involved because of how much ultra-fine material it catches, but honestly that feels more like proof it is doing its job than a complaint.
My pool guy told me that removing this kind of ultra-fine debris consistently can actually help extend the life of pool equipment over time, and after seeing what the A10 pulled out, I am starting to believe him. At this point, I am convinced the A10 is pulling out debris that I did not even realize was still in the pool — including what looks like enough dog hair to build a second Leia 😂
