V50 Ultra Complete VS P10 Pro Ultra Overall Review!

Hi everyone!

Today, I want to give my overall review of the V50 Ultra Complete and assess how it compares with the P10 Pro Ultra. I will try to review the various functions of the two models without taking price into account, but then give my final recommendations with price in mind. I will review several key aspects on a 10 point scale.

Vacuuming- V50 9/10 vs P10 8.7/10

I think it is pretty much a tie here. From my testing, it seems like the V50 may perform slightly better with large chunks like cat food and out of the box it‘s performance on thick carpets is better. The tri-cut brush does mitigate this second aspect, but it adds to the cost. The main thing separating them both from a 10/10 is even better edge cleaning. A small improvement here would make them both so much better at cleaning the small space under cabinets and the fridge.

Mopping V50 8/10 vs P10 6.75/10

Mopping is one of the biggest improvements for the V50. Two different soap compartments is a big plus and it clearly handled dried on stains better.

App functionality V50 9/10 vs P10 7.5/10
There are lots of cool new features in the app that are available for the V50. Pet care menu, controlling soap dispensing frequency, etc. These features need to be explained better instead of having to dig through the menus though.

Battery Life V50 6.5/10 vs P10 9/10
The first big mark against the V50. When completing the same tasks at the same time, the V50 was using roughly double the battery.

Maintenance. V50 8/10 vs P10 8/10
Cleaning the dock on the V50 is much easier, but the clean & dirty water containers are much smaller.

Ease of daily use V50 9.5/10 vs P10 8/10
The P10 performed slightly better on obstacle recognition & avoidance in my limited testing. The V50 has great new features like threshold climbing and a retractable sensor that make cleaning a more automated process.

Overall, the V50 is clearly an improvement on the P10. If you are on a budget, then the P10 is still the clear choice. If you have pets, need better mopping, and don‘t mind a shorter battery life, then you should definitely consider paying more for the V50.
