[P50 Ultra] Brand new vacuum not performing well

Last edited by DI236363 on 2026-7-13 23:00

We replaced our roomba because it started to show its age and would get lost in our apartment and ultimately switched to the Mova P50 Ultra. We’ve only had it for about 2 months and it’s not cleaning nearly as well as our old confused roomba. The vacuum doesn’t suck anything up - just kinda pushes everything around, no matter how high the suction level is set. Then when it mops, it’s just spreads the dirt around even more. I know it’s a little hard to see in my photos because my camera doesn’t capture the dirt that well, but it’s pretty disappointing given how expensive the robot was and how promising the marketing made the robot out to be.

Hi there! That definitely doesn’t look right at all. Have you checked that the onboard canister isn’t full or that the dust bag isn’t full? I’d also check and see if anything is stuck anywhere and do a thorough check. While something shouldn’t have stopped the performance of the vacuum, there’s definitely a chance something got caught.

Alternatively, I am certain Mova Support will post a message here during their day hours. They likely will need your SN to assist.

Hello, we sincerely apologize for the poor vacuuming and mopping performance that has given you a bad user experience. Please try the following self-check troubleshooting steps first:
Check if the dust bin is full and empty it promptly. Models equipped with an auto-empty base station generally rarely encounter this issue.
Inspect the filter for clogging, remove it and clear dust buildup.
Take out the main brush and remove tangled hair and debris wrapped around it.
Verify the suction level and switch it to a higher setting.
If the issue persists after completing all the above steps, please share your device with our account QR033438, provide your device SN code and upload the fault logs. Our technical team will remotely inspect your robot and send you the troubleshooting results in a timely manner. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you.
