Floor Cleaning Direction

I mapped my single-story home and in Floor Cleaning Setting selected clean along the floor direction.  In Custom Room select and an extra section; the robot is NOT mopping in the direction assigned.  In the mode "Clean up here" the robot does a box in the area and cleans in horizontal and vertical directions, again not in the direction intended in the app.  In Room cleaning mode, the robot does a perimeter box first, again not in the direction, and starts cleaning. This is causing a dirt to get caught in the tile grooves and making the floor appear to have dirt streaks.  How can I get the robot to clean in the correct direction?

After checking your cleaning records, we found that manually started cleaning tasks follow your set floor grain direction perfectly. The cross-direction cleaning only happens in your scheduled cleaning tasks: you've set **twice-daily repeat cleaning** for your living room, dining room and kitchen in the schedule, which triggers the cross bow-shaped path for the second round of cleaning.

You can try adjusting the scheduled cleaning frequency to **one single cleaning per day** for these zones, and the robot will stick to your preferred floor grain direction consistently. If you have any further questions after the adjustment, feel free to let us know!
