Mop heads keep coming off

My vacuum is having issues with the mop heads coming off very frequently 2-3 times every time it runs. It seems the cowhide rugs are an enemy for my device, there isn’t a great way to indicate the shape of the rug on the map to notify it to either avoid or go over the edges. What is the best way to fix this?

A cowhide rug is normally pretty thin, no? I would not think it would cause the mop pads to fall off. Ideally the robot would identify where the rug is on the map by itself and then you can set that specific carpet/rug to be avoided! You could add a square rug near it manually and do the same! I know the shape is slightly incorrect then…

We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. When the robot climbs over rugs, door thresholds or small ledges, the mopping plate can get caught and come loose. We recommend setting up no-mop zones in the app to stop the robot from entering those areas with the mop attached. Also, please tidy up loose power cords and other clutter on the floor before cleaning, as tangling can also cause the mop tray to fall off.
