My wife and I met before our house was smart…
back when vacuuming required effort and lawns were mowed by actual humans.
I knew she was the one when she didn’t flinch at my long-term life plan:
work smarter, not harder—and let technology handle the rest.
As our relationship grew, so did the gadgets. First a robot vacuum. Then more robots. Then pets. Then kids. Suddenly our home became a carefully balanced ecosystem of love, chaos, crumbs, fur, and machines quietly cleaning it all up while I stood nearby saying things like,
“Wow… look at it go.”
These days, I’m a dad. Which means my role is to:
• explain how everything works
• optimize settings no one asked for
• name the robots
• and remind everyone that the robot just ran
Our pets have better hydration systems(Mova pet water fountain) than I do.
Hoping to soon have our lawn looking professionally maintained (by a Mova robot mower).
Our floors are clean because a robot vacuum works harder than I ever will.
Some people say relationships take work.
Ours took Wi-Fi, charging docks, and a shared belief that if a robot can do it, it absolutely should.
I found my soulmate.
And together, we built a home where the robots handle the chores…
and I proudly take all the credit. 🤖❤️
