[P10 Pro Ultra] Vacuum/ Mop doesn’t do well in some areas.

Last edited by SO388491 on 2026-2-21 07:41

Overall, this new vacuum is just ok.  It spits out (for lack of a better term) dirt randomly.  I don’t see it actually doing it, but find it later.  The mop function seems filmy on my ceramic tile areas.  It also skips areas, where it may not vacuum or mop it.  And on my living room area rug , which is thinner than the rooms plush carpet, it doesn’t vacuum well. Someone help! I did A LOT of research before purchasing this product and I feel like it doesn’t meet my expectations based on reviews.
I have changed the settings to just vacuum first on highest suction and mop later.   So far I am NOT loving it.

Just curious what model you are referencing? And have you had a robot vacuum before that you are comparing it to or is this your first one?

I’m new to this forum, and I selected the P10 Pro Ultra selection before making my post, so I just assumed it went to that forum, sorry about not being clear in my post. So, yes, I had a Shark Robot

I don’t understand why half my message reply is gone.  So to finish my message, I had a shark robot previously that after a few years stop vacuuming good.  It wouldn’t go in particular order on the carpet as it used to and after resetting it, it still just did an ok job.  So decided to upgrade to the vacuum/ mop dual.

It seems like you’ve already tried it but I do often have custom settings for each room where I use max suction on my high plush carpet. I also have rooms with real wood floor and there is the ability to put down less water. Maybe try putting more or less water to reduce the film? Or alternate when you do and don’t use solution

It is a robot so it’s never going to be PERFECT. But I would expect for you to be loving it more than your previous shark.

Hello,

The dustbin may be full. Please open the top cover of the robot, remove the dustbin, and clean out any debris inside.

Please remove the filter and gently tap it on the edge of a trash bin to clear dust and debris from the surface. Rinse the filter with clean water and make sure it is completely dry before reinstalling it. Then turn the robot back on to check whether it works normally.

Please remove the main brush at the bottom of the robot, clean it thoroughly, and check whether the main suction inlet is clogged with debris or tangled hair.

Please use the highest mode for cleaning and check whether the cleaning performance improves.

If the issue persists after performing the steps above, please send a video or a video link to our after‑sales support team so that the problem can be diagnosed as quickly as possible.
