In this video I’m showing the Z60 cleaning my hardwood kitchen floor and showing off one feature that is really cool: the mop extend function.
You can see the mop actually extend outward as it gets close to the edges of the cabinets and along the kitchen island. It does a really nice job getting tight to the baseboards instead of leaving that thin strip of untouched floor that a lot of robots miss. I also like how the side brush can extend as well which helps pull debris in from corners and along edges before it vacuums.
Another thing I wanted to highlight is the built in light. Even though LiDAR can navigate in the dark, the added light helps the cameras detect objects more clearly. You can see it move very close along the island, the chair legs, and even the feet of the chairs without bumping into them. It feels confident but controlled.
So far I’ve been impressed with how detailed it is around edges and obstacles, especially in a busy kitchen area. Definitely a feature I’ll keep testing more over the next few weeks.
