Full disclosure: I received this Z60 through MOVA's Get & Create program at no cost in exchange for honest feedback. Everything here is my real experience. I'm not here to make aesthetic cleaning content. I'm here to put this thing through real testing.
--Who I Am & Why That Matters--
I've been obsessed with robot vacuums for over six years now. I've gone through about nine robots over the years across Roomba, Roborock, Dreame and MOVA's own P10 Pro Ultra. So the Z60 isn't my first rodeo and it's not my first MOVA product either. I currently run three robots across three floors of my house and I've been chasing the same thing this entire time: the deepest clean with the least intervention.
The Z60 is assigned to my middle floor. LVP flooring, kitchen and living room with a large area rug. I also have a Shiba Inu named Delilah who is thrilled about the new robot as you can see.
--Unboxing & Setup--
First thing I noticed pulling the dock out of the box: it comes wrapped in a white cloth bag. Tiny detail but it made getting the dock out so much easier compared to wrestling with molded foam and plastic wrap like every other robot I've unboxed. Appreciated that.
Setup was smooth. One small hiccup that might save someone a panic: there's a tiny physical power switch on the back of the dock. I missed it and spent about a minute thinking my dock was dead on arrival. Check the back before you start troubleshooting.
Mapping took maybe 5 to 10 minutes and the auto room detection actually nailed my layout without needing corrections. The MOVAhome app is intuitive, especially if you've used Dreame products before. One heads up though: there are a ton of settings buried in the app that enhance cleaning. Don't just accept the defaults. Dig in and turn things on. It's worth it.
--The Complete Package is Actually Complete--
I still had the extras box sealed so I opened it up for this post. They are not kidding with the "Complete" name. On top of everything already installed on the robot, you get: an extra main brush, two side brushes, three dust box filters, three dust bags, three roller mops, a full liter of cleaning solution, and a 200ml pet odor solution. That's months of consumables before you need to buy a single replacement part. I've owned robots from brands that ship you the absolute minimum and start upselling consumables immediately. This is a refreshing change.
--One Week of Daily Runs--
The Z60 has been running on a scheduled daily vac + mop since day one. Some things I've noticed:
I knew this thing was legit after the first night. Went to bed, woke up, floors were just done. The whole promise of hands-free cleaning actually delivered from night one. That's not something I could say about every robot I've owned.
My first run was in deep mode with mop-after-vac and it took 173 minutes for 640 square feet. That's a lot, but deep mode uses tight pass spacing with multiple dock returns for roller washing and water refills. I've since turned deep mode off for daily use because honestly, the roller mop's scrubbing pressure and continuous fresh water system already does more mechanical work per pass than any spinning-pad robot I've owned. Deep mode on top of that is diminishing returns for double the runtime. I'm saving it for when the kitchen has had a rough day.
The water tanks look smaller than what I'm used to on other robots but they're lasting through full runs without issue. Don't let the size concern you.
Noise is impressively low. I didn't hear it running from another room, which is wild given the 28,000Pa suction.
One more thing: after a full week of daily runs, the dock and roller have zero smell. None. If you've ever owned an older robot where the mop pad turned into a biohazard after a couple days, you know how significant that is. The 80°C hot water wash combined with UVC sterilization and hot air drying during the dock cycle is doing exactly what it should. The roller comes out clean and the dock smells like nothing. That alone is a massive upgrade over previous generations of robot mops.
--Now For The Dirty Water Tank--
This is the part that really hit me. Here's what the Z60 pulled out of my "clean" floors after a week of scheduled daily runs. Keep in mind these floors were being maintained by other robots daily and occasional manual mopping before the Z60 showed up.
It was dark. It was foul. And it tells you everything you need to know about the difference between a roller mop with real water extraction versus disc pads that just push dirty water around. This is what was hiding in my floors the whole time.
--What's Next--
I'm just getting started. I have stain tests planned with dried substances, glow powder under blacklight for residue detection, carpet performance testing, a full maintenance and hygiene audit after two weeks of use, and more. I'll be documenting everything honestly, the good and the bad.
Stay tuned!
