The MOVA app has been very straightforward to use to setup my Z60. I think even a complete beginner could follow along.
For the initial mapping, the Z60 took about 10 minutes to quickly run through each room and create a clear floor plan of my home (just make sure the doors to each room are open, I normally keep my master bedroom door closed and forgot to open it during map so you don’t see it in my map yet, will have to open another time when it clean to pick up my master room). After the first pass, I did have to rename a few rooms and tweak the tile floor pattern in some areas where it didn’t detect correctly, but the editing tools make this pretty easy. You can merge large rooms or split them into smaller sections, which is super useful for planning different cleaning routines—for example, doing a quick daily clean in my kitchen area after cooking.
One of my favorite touches is how customizable everything feels. The app lets you set thresholds or ramps so the Z60 can decide when to pass, avoid, or ramp up, which is a feature I haven’t seen in other robot vacuum apps I’ve used. There’s also a built‑in shop section where you can buy accessories and replacement parts directly at good prices, so I don’t have to hunt around online. I’m especially excited about the Pet Care options, since the robot can be tuned for homes with pets, and I think this will be super useful with my two cats. I’m really looking forward to putting it use, and I’ll be sharing more of my cleaning experience and favorite settings as I spend more time with the Z60!
