After letting the robot charge for about an hour - it arrived with about 40% charge - it was charged to about 96%, and I decided it was time to test out the mapping portion of the set up. Before mapping, it took me through some different system settings to select vacuuming and mopping features, stating that I had a pet in my house to enable some of the pet features, and walked me through using the voice assistant. In addition, it had to perform a firmware update. This update was very easy to do and took maybe five minutes. Once this was all done, it was time to start mapping. What blew me away is how quiet the device was as it mapped, as other devices I've owned in the past actually had to run the vacuum to do the mapping feature. You'll see that my dog didn't even mind it.
