One feature I really appreciate about the Z60 is the base station. It makes the entire cleaning process feel nearly hands-off. After a cleaning run, the robot returns to the station, where it automatically washes the mop roller and then dries it. This means the mop is clean and ready for the next session without needing to deal with dirty pads or manual rinsing. The station also separates clean and dirty water into two tanks, which is very convenient. The robot uses the clean water for washing and mopping, while the dirty water collects in its own container. So far, I’ve found that these tanks only need to be emptied or refilled every couple of weeks, depending on how often the robot runs. The dust collection is automatic as well, so most of the time, there isn’t much to do except for occasional maintenance. Overall, the dock has saved me a lot of time. It turns what used to be multiple cleaning steps into a process that mostly runs on its own. It’s definitely one of the features that makes the whole system feel high quality.
