I’ve been watching the MOVA Z60 work its way through my downstairs, and I have to give credit where it’s due: when this robot locks onto darker, non‑shiny objects, it navigates like an absolute boss. The sensors love matte or low‑reflective surfaces. The Z60 approaches confidently, adjusts its path, and glides around obstacles.
The attached videos were taken during the initial mapping and then the first cleaning. Extremely impressive that it read the environment that quickly. It’s the kind of behavior that makes you stop and think, “Okay, this thing actually knows what it’s doing.”
With mopping, it got close to the chair legs on regular settings. There is another setting to get even closer, but I haven’t enabled it yet—I’m still in the honeymoon phase of not wanting to scratch the vacuum (lol). The Z60 moving around the chair legs is confidence‑inspiring and genuinely satisfying to watch.
I’ll keep pushing it through different lighting conditions and layouts, but so far, when it comes to darker, non‑shiny objects, the Z60 is dialed in. More testing to come as I throw new challenges at it. #GetYourZ60
