Living in the Southern US, summers here are absolutely brutal -- any excuse to get out of mowing the lawn is a welcome invitation. Our subdivision is pretty cramped, and while each lot is around 1/4 to 1/3 acre, they’re littered with trees, stone ornamentation, flower gardens, cable boxes, and power company generators. And, don't forget the random neighborhood dog that gets loose, or pet messes on the lawn.  It’s not exactly “robot‑friendly” terrain.

On top of that, I’ve got a larger yard with fast‑growing Bermuda, irregular landscaping with bumps and dips and slopes that hit around 15%. My Honda self-propelled mower is fine, but a robot mower that can actually handle all of that? That’s a dream.

The LiDAX Ultra 3000 AWD looks like it was built for the kind of “Southern subdivision chaos” a lot of us deal with!

This hits especially hard going into late spring and summer. For me, the biggest challenge isn’t just mowing — it’s keeping up with fast growth, uneven patches, and constant obstacles (kids’ toys, hoses, furniture) without having to babysit every run.

The no-RTK + LiDAR approach is interesting since signal drops around trees are a real issue in my yard. Also curious how well it maintains consistent edge cutting over time, especially when grass grows faster during peak season.

If it can truly handle slopes + obstacles while keeping a clean, repeatable pattern, that’s a huge win for low-maintenance lawn care.

This looks so good. I have a .75 acre yard with a lot of evergreen trees for privacy in the back, plus other deciduous trees around the property. The evergreens are in front of the fence line and there’s about 3-4 feet between the evergreen and back of my property where the fence line is. Currently I have to take a small 21” push mower in this area  because my big zero turn mower doesn’t fit anymore. I’m curious if the 3000 AWD can mow in this area ? My yard slopes as well, and I have a retaining wall along with draining ditches running through the front of the property. Sometimes, kids toys along with the water hose gets left out in the back yard. It would be interesting to see how well the mower avoids these obstacles. I have a good amount of flower beds and decorative grass the mower needs to maneuver around. Is there an electric gate or are you planning to launch one ? My front yard and back yard is separated by a fence with manual gates. Also, I’m curious to see how well it will cut Bermuda. My back yard gets very thick due to the fact the septic sprinklers are located there and provide a lot of extra water. I’m really wanting to try this out and post some content/reviews of it for you.
