Quick heads up: MOVA sent me this Z60 through their Get & Create program to try out and review, but these thoughts are 100% my own and truthful.
I have earlier posts on design impressions and mop performance. In this post, I wanted to highlight the anti-tangle brushes.
I just confirmed in my app that I have close to 700 minutes of usage and 0, YES zero, hair thread tangled! Even with previous robot vacuums that had anti-tangle brushes, though they help immensely, they’d still collect some pieces of hair from time to time. I was so relieved to not find a single piece of hair stuck on the brushes (I was honestly half-expected to find at least 1 piece of hair just from past experiences).
In one of my photos, I circled this cloth-like black strip near the base of each brush that I believe is meant to prevent hairs from getting tangled. This is a minor detail that I think will often get overlooked - on some robot vacuums, hair sometimes gets tangled on the brush itself, but it often gets tangled near the base instead of on the brush. I absolutely love this tiny detail. I’m so impressed by the attention to detail that MOVA put into the Z60. Additionally, on the other end of the brush, it tapers off, which also helps prevent tangles.
I can’t help but be so impressed and give a 10/10 on the Z60’s anti-tangle brush performance. Hopefully, as I inch closer and closer to 1000 minutes of usage, my Z60 can remain tangle-free.
