If you have a mix of hard floors and rugs, this matters more than you’d think. My previous robot would lift the mop on carpet, but it still dragged moisture across it.
This one actually covers the mop before going over rugs, so everything stays clean and dry. That alone fixes one of my biggest annoyances with robot mops.
It just feels a lot more practical for everyday use instead of something you have to work around.
