This feature ended up being way more useful than I expected. The lidar actually lowers so it can get under furniture that most robot vacuums just skip.
There are spots in my house that have literally never been cleaned by a robot before, and this thing just slides right under and handles it.
It’s one of those small design changes that makes a big difference in how thorough the cleaning actually is.
