3 Week Z60 Ultra Evatuation

They stated when I signed up for the program that they wanted very honest feedback. I truly hope that they were sincere. Please be patient and take the time to read the entire review and don't jump to conclusions before you get to the end.  I want to start by saying that as a whole, I have been impressed with the mova company and their products overall. I was skeptical when I bought my first Nova but I've been pleasantly surprised and now own a total of four plus have purchased for my mother and other family members. I was incredibly excited to try out the z60. It cost twice as much as the previous units that I have purchased which were the P10 Pro Ultra. I had incredibly high expectation because it was supposed to have increased suction as well as the roller mop. The vacuum on it has two brush bars instead of a single brush bar. However when I unpack the unit one of the first things I noticed was that the shiny black plastic was already scratched, a mat plastic would probably have been a better option. The other thing I noticed was that the clean and dirty water tanks were smaller than my P10. I thought perhaps it used water more efficiently or something. I was wrong. I fill these tanks more frequently than I filled the other tanks. Per a response that I received to a previous post from the mova team, this unit actually can consume more water and yet has a smaller tank. I expected a much higher level of clean from the extra suction and the better mop mechanism. Truth be told, it does a pretty good job vacuuming but the mopping leaves something to be desired. I have two English bulldogs and they leave slobbers. When I put it on the intelligent cycle it leaves slobber residue behind all over the floor. Typically I need to run a double mop cycle on the high end of intensive in order to get most of the slobber spots off the floor. This was not always the case with my P10. It also does not do nearly as nice a job of mopping along the edges. The roller mop does extend however it does not get as close as the round mop on the P10 when it does the edging. Also I have an area rug at my entrance door and every time it vacuums it turns short of the end of the mat where the P10 would go the whole way to the end of the mat. Again I had posted about this in an earlier message and the mova team had come back with a suggestion to increase the size of the area rug on the map. I did try that and I had some marginal success but it did not do it every time it was kind of like a hit and miss.

With all of that said, if I did not already own a mova, I believe this would be a significant upgrade because it does work far better than other units that I have had. I have had multiple iRobot, as well as shark units. The Mova product is far superior.  The question that I have is weather it is worth someone spending twice as much money to purchase a z60 then it would be to purchase a mova P10 Pro Ultra or P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2. The z60 is over $1,000 but yet you can get the P10 Pro Ultra for closer to $500. As I stated when I compare the z60 with units that I've had from other companies it is far superior. The struggle that I have is when I compare the z60 to other mova products it gets complicated. If I did not have pets but slobber so much would the z60 be a better choice, I can't even be certain there. Please understand it is a fine machine but when you look at value for your dollar I honestly believe that the P10 Pro Ultra and the P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 units that I have in many ways do a better job for half the price of the z60.

I do want to take the z60 to my mother's apartment and try it in her residence where there are not pets and see if she shares my opinion. She currently has a P10 Pro Ultra but the Gen 1 version. I will come back and update once I get her feedback for a few weeks. As of now, I encourage you to look at some of my other posts and videos which document the things that I'm speaking of in this summary post.

Again, just to be incredibly clear, I absolutely recommend mova products! I have had excellent success with their products. I not only have their robotic vacuum systems but I also have an air fryer and I am completely impressed all around. I am not by any means telling somebody that the z60 ultra is a poor machine. It does a nice job. I am simply suggesting that in a head-to-head with their own product I honestly feel like the more economically priced P10 Pro Ultra and P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 do a superior job overall. I do hope this helps someone who's trying to make a decision.

Everyone has different perspectives and people will appreciate you giving yours. I have never seen Mova upset by a review.

I agree with the complex nature of comparing Mova products. I really appreciate the roller mop on the Z60. By comparing the dirty water tanks I know it’s pulling a lot more dirt up off the floor. But man I love my P10! I think it does outperform the Z60 in a lot of ways from half the price.
