I tested the Z60’s mopping on a couple of real-life messes (some spilled coffee and a bit of ketchup) just to see how it would actually handle things day to day. This is just my experience using the Z60, but I think it gives a pretty honest look at what it can and can’t do.
The ketchup was easy work for the Z60. It cleaned it up in one pass, leaving no residue behind, which honestly impressed me. That’s the kind of performance I’d expect for thicker messes, and the Z60 delivered there.
The coffee was a little different. The Z60 picked up the liquid without any problems, but it left a visible stain. I ran it over the area again, and while the stain faded a bit, it didn’t fully disappear. In the end, I had to grab a damp paper towel to completely wipe up what was left.
I had the Z60 running in Clean Genius mode during all of this, so it was doing its thing automatically. The Z60 did a decent job overall, but it’s pretty clear that stains, especially coffee stains, can still use a little manual help. Next time, I will set the Z60 to a more intensive mopping mode as I believe that will remedy any residual stains.
One other thing I noticed: every time the Z60 turned to start another pass, it left a faint white mark on the floor. The roller was clean before I started and I had thoroughly mopped with a mop and bucket, so it didn’t seem like it was from leftover debris—maybe just how it distributes water or pressure when turning.
Overall, in Clean Genius mode, the Z60 handled thicker messes really well, but when it comes to stains, at least in my testing, it didn’t completely finish the job on its own.
Full Disclosure: I received the MOVA Z60 Ultra through MOVA’s Get & Create program at no cost in exchange for sharing my honest experience. That said, everything here reflects my real-world experience with the vacuum in my home. My goal isn’t to make staged or overly polished cleaning content—I’m interested in seeing how well this robot performs in everyday living conditions. MOVA also made it clear they want honest feedback, not just positive reviews. #GetYourZ60
