MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete (Ground Scrubber)
Whole Home Mopping Quick Rating
⭐ 4.7 / 5
Introduction
Today I ran my first full home mopping cycle with the MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete. I have always been a bit skeptical of robot mopping since most systems tend to drag a dirty pad around rather than actually clean. I wanted to see if this system would be any different, especially across my entire home.
⸻
What the Product Claims For Mopping
The Z60 is designed to vacuum and mop using a roller system that keeps the mop clean by refreshing it throughout the cleaning cycle. It also includes a retractable cover to protect carpets while mopping and automatically manages clean and dirty water through the dock.
⸻
How I Tested It
I ran a full home mopping cycle across my approximately 2,000 square foot house.
I did:
• Mixed flooring with tile and carpet
• Clean genius settings
• Full cleaning cycle, including automatic mop refreshes
• Normal household conditions

Results and Experience
One of the first things I noticed was how often the robot returned to refresh the mop. It appeared to do this after each room, and possibly more often in larger spaces. I was not tracking it closely, but it was clearly maintaining the mop instead of dragging around a dirty one.
My bathrooms have a textured tile that tends to grab traditional mop heads. When I use my O-Cedar mop, it often catches and drags, which makes mopping frustrating. The Z60 handled this surface without any noticeable issues. It moved smoothly and did not get stuck or struggle on that flooring.
Another thing I paid attention to was how wet the floors were afterward. When I mop manually, the floors tend to stay wet for a while. With the Z60, the floors were not overly wet and there were no visible streaks left behind. At first I questioned how well it was actually cleaning, since it did not leave the heavy wet look I am used to.
That changed once I emptied the dirty water tank. The app notified me when it was ready, and when I checked it, the water was extremely dirty. It was honestly pretty unpleasant to look at, but it confirmed that the system was pulling real grime off the floors.
The dirty tank was easy to empty and rinse, and the clean water tank still had about one-third of its water remaining after the full run. I topped it off, but I could see that in a home with more hard flooring or heavier water usage, it might need a refill before finishing.
Battery usage was noticeably higher during mopping. The robot needed two additional charging cycles to complete the full home cleaning, compared to a single cycle when running vacuum only. This does make the total cleaning time significantly longer.
After several runs, I also checked the dock. It was not overly dirty, but it did need a basic wipe down, which matches the routine maintenance described in the manual. I have not noticed any leaks, and aside from refilling clean water, emptying dirty water, and occasional cleaning, the system has been fairly hands-off so far. I have not needed to refill the cleaner yet, so it seems to be efficient in that regard.
⸻

• Floors are clean without being overly wet or streaky
• Dirty water tank clearly shows effective cleaning
• Easy maintenance with simple tank emptying and refilling
• Efficient use of cleaning solution so far
⸻
Cons
• Mopping uses significantly more battery than vacuuming
• Full home cleaning can require multiple recharge cycles
• May require water refills in larger or fully hard floor homes
• Dock needs occasional wipe down for maintenance
⸻
I will continue testing how it performs over time, especially with repeated use, different mop settings, and long-term maintenance.
