MOVA Z60: A Bird’s‑Eye View.

MOVA Z60: A Bird’s‑Eye View.

I filmed a full 360° overhead view of the MOVA Z60 today--almost like dropping a tiny drone inside the house--and it gave me a whole new appreciation for how this robot moves.

From this vantage point, the Z60 becomes seems fascinating. What stood out most in the footage was just how dutiful it is. It approaches each obstacle with this quiet confidence, adjusts its angle, and continues on its mission like a tiny professional who takes pride in the job. Watching it from above almost feels like watching a nature documentary: (queue David Attenborough) here is the MOVA Z60 in its natural habitat, weaving through the landscape, following invisible paths only it can see.

The overhead perspective really drives home how much thought is happening under the hood. Every turn, every sidestep, every slow approach looks intentional. It’s mesmerizing in a way I didn’t expect--almost meditative to watch.

If you’ve never seen your robot from a bird’s‑eye view, I highly recommend trying it. It gives you a whole new appreciation for the engineering behind the Z60 and the quiet, reliable way it goes about its work.

Disclaimer: I received this Z60 as part of the MOVA Z60 Get & Create Event. #GetYourZ60

This is such a cool perspective — totally changes how you see the Z60’s movement. From ground level it feels routine, but from above you can really see the logic behind every turn and adjustment.

Quick question — how did you manage to capture this bird’s-eye view? Did you mount a camera overhead or use something like a drone?

Also, from that angle, did you notice if the pathing becomes more efficient over multiple runs, or does it follow a very consistent pattern each time?

Really unique way to showcase the navigation 👍

Hi ShivamDixit, to capture the view, I used a 360 camera and a 10M pole for some shots. Other shots use a magsafe ultralight camera mount with carbon fiber self-stick. Emphasis on ultralight setup.
