Fast Mapping

Hello All!
I’ve recently moved to a new apartment, and since I still had my S20, I wanted to see the difference in initial fast mapping and map recognition of my new place.
Time: both robots took about 5-10 minutes to map, like the voice prompt initially indicates, so the fast mapping is about the same amount of time for both models.
The immediate differences are seen with the Z60 through its “intelligent mapping” feature, and it was able to automatically register each room as it was. The S20 still managed to map the apartment, but wasn’t as detailed as the Z60, and I still had to adjust the areas with carpet, while with the Z60, it automatically detected the carpeted areas.
On the Z60 map where it says “bathroom 3”, it’s actually a second bedroom, but just a minor tweak / adjustment in the app. With the S20, I had to relabel each room, as it was listed by “Room #” instead of auto detecting the area like the Z60. Just a means of preference, but it really shows the improvement in technology with different models which I find interesting. The orientation is different since I put them in different spots in the apartment, but I wanted to show the mapping techniques of each robot.
