I typically run my unit at night while I'm in bed and so when I came out this morning I was really surprised to find that the top cover of the unit was lying in the floor. I'm not really sure how this happened. The unit does easily come off and is a fixed with a few magnets. But the round unit in the middle would have been extended so I don't know how it got off over that. There's also nothing really that it goes completely under that would catch the top enough to push it off I mean the counter bottoms do stick out slightly but I wouldn't see them being enough to push it the whole way off and it clears the bottom of the counter. In the month I've had it this is the only time it ever happened. Just a strange anomaly.
If the LDS automatic lift adjustment is set to “Extreme Coverage” mode, the robot may attempt to clean under furniture with a height very close to its own. This could be the reason why the robot’s top cover came off.
