since we just moved into a new place, i wanted to place the base station of the Z60 in a spot where it’s easily accessible for the robot to go in and out of the base station, and in a spot where it’s not completely out in the open.
the Z60 is very beautiful to look at. the design is simplistic and sleek with a glossy finish that doesn’t leave finger print marks on the front. i placed it underneath of a cat tree, but the top is still accessible for the mop buckets to go in and out of. luckily, there’s an outlet in that back corner, so the cable management isn’t too bad (still needs some work).
i placed it here with a bit of space on the sides, allowing a bit of room for some weekly deep cleans of the base station, its components, and the attachments of the Z60.
overall, the vacuum goes with almost any aesthetic in your home. it’s not too bulky for how much power the vacuum has. i can place it in every room of the house, and it would still compliment the space really well.
i haven’t noticed any wet residue left behind in the floor underneath of the base station which is a huge plus because the S20 model sometimes left wet spots underneath of the base station. will probably purchase a thin mat to place underneath just for peace of mind, but so far, it hasn’t been necessary.
