Spill test!
the settings i used for this were the clean room setting, and i selected the kitchen, and i selected the “intense” setting with a slightly wet mop head. i only selected it to do “1x” cycle, and it mopped everything up with one pass over each section! no residue was left behind, and the floors were spotless.
i used regular ground coffee for the big spill, and slightly-old espresso (which stains the most and makes it very sticky). both held up to the test and didn’t stand a chance against the Z60.
i typically don’t spill anything major in the kitchen, mostly just on the countertops, but rest assured, if i did, the Z60 has my back.
the Z60 went to the base station only once during this process to rewatch the mop roller, and to go over the kitchen one last time. mopping is typically what takes the longest for these types of robots, but the task was completed in about 30 minutes. it’s not too loud while mopping, either. it doesn’t bother my pets, nor drowns out the tv, which is great for when you’re home and want to relax. being an upstairs neighbor, same as my last apartment, i still try to be considerate of noise which is why this is such a huge plus.
