Water pouring out of base atation

Vacuuming is no problem. Major problem is when unit is set to just heavy mop and is supposed to leave a small water trail (proof that it’s mopping), the water container with cleaner is not filling properly, or it’s overflowing, and a large puddle of water surrounds the base station. Any thoughts?
